About The Event
PTTP are extremely excited to share this brand new location with you and we kick off our very first event here for our Halloween 2025 special! Tickets are priced at only £35 with a deposit option available.
Fort Purbrook was built at the same time as the rest of the Forts around Portsmouth and finished in 1870. It was one of the last to be completed and as such has more modern Victorian defence elements to it.
Like many other Forts it has its myths and mysteries and local legends, but the Fort was of course mainly used by the military until the 1960’s.
It saw action in both World Wars, being used as a home guard training site, military equipment and vehicle depo, pre-Europe bound solider station and Navy/RAF radar training facility.
It was then left to the local council in the mid 1960’s There followed neglect and vandalism…
